Mapping Stories: Research with Syrian Refugee Families Living in Lebanon

Event Description:

Join Bree Akesson, assistant professor from Laurier’s Faculty of Social Work, as she shares her experience with her project which explores the everyday experiences of Syrian refugee families living in Lebanon during the 2018 Anniversary Lecture for the Laurier Association for Lifelong Learning.

Akesson will share suggested solutions to the challenges impedingphysical and psychosocial well-being for war-affected families.

Doors open at 5:15 p.m. with the lecture to begin at 6 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online for $15. Light refreshments provided.
