Event Description:

The GAMEtalk lecture series is a partnership between the Game Design and Development program and the Laurier Library to bring in speakers who are involved in the game industry to speak to students, faculty and the community. Come out to the Odeon theatre to hear from Zoe Quinn, Game Developer/Writer.

Please note that this GAMETalk will be happening on a Wednesday instead of Thursday.

Zoe Quinn is an American video game developer, programmer, writer, and artist. She developed the interactive fiction Depression Quest, a Twine game released on Steam. In 2014, a blog post by her ex-boyfriend Eron Gjoni sparked the Gamergate controversy, in which Quinn was subject to extensive harassment.
