GameTALK Speaker Series: Amanda Warner

Event Description:

The GAMEtalk lecture series is a partnership between the Game Design and Development program and the Laurier Library to bring in speakers who are involved in the game industry to speak to students, faculty and the community.

Come join us in the BGNlab on Thursday, Dec. 7 from 7-8 welcoming Amanda Warner.

Amanda Warner designs and develops games, courses, and other experiences that focus on real-world change. She recently launched Fake It To Make It, a social-impact game about how fake news is created and distributed. Amanda has designed interactive learning for the past fourteen years, initially in the corporate sector, and now in collaboration with NGOs. Most of her recent work has targeted medical care, disaster response, and financial services in developing countries.
