Faculty Reads book club: Teaching Naked
Start Date: 1/27/2017Start Time: 1:00 PM
End Date: 1/27/2017End Time: 3:00 PM

Event Description:

Faculty Reads is a book club initiative that brings together Faculty members and other interested members of our community to read and discuss notable books with a specific bearing on our teaching, research and institutional environment.

"Technology is profoundly changing education. If students are going to continue to pay enormous sums for campus classes, colleges will need to provide more than what can be found online and maximize 'naked' face-to-face contact with faculty."

Let's discuss.

Three e-book copies of Teaching Naked are available to borrow from the Library by clicking here. The book is also available for purchase from major book retailers.

The Teaching Naked website includes additional information and handouts.

Questions? Contact Debbie Chaves at ( or 3417 or Jeanette McDonald at ( or 3211.

This is a joint effort from the Library and the Centre for Teaching Innovation and Excellence.

We are committed to creating an accessible environment for all. Please contact either of us to discuss accommodation.
