All Day Douglas R. Ewart: Crepuscule Mixed Media Installation (Multi-Day Event)
Douglas R. Ewart’s Crepuscule is a multimedia, interactive installation and exhibition of music, film, sculptural assemblage and performance art, exploring the role of improvisation in building and strengthening community. Douglas R. Ewart is a versatile composer, improviser, sculptor and maker of masks and instruments. He is also an inspiring and enthusiastic educator and lecturer. Throughout his acclaimed 40-year career, Ewart has led projects in diverse media, weaving his many talents into a single sensibility that encourages and celebrates the wholeness of individuals in culturally active communities.

    Laurier’s Sustainability Office is running a free store program for the first week of September!


    The free store has clothing, household, kitchen, and furniture items that were donated by students moving out and are now available for free pickup. This process will reduce waste from the move out at the end of August and support incoming as well as returning students prepare for the school year.


    All Laurier students welcome.


    The free store is at 57 Lodge Street, just a 5-minute walk from Alumni Field. We operate out of the back of the building, signs will guide you around back.


    All items are free. Just come and choose what you need! We may ask to see an ID to ensure you are a Laurier student. Please note: We do not provide any bags or delivery. If you would like to take a larger item, you must have a way to move it.


    The free store will operate from Sunday, Sept. 2 to Friday, Sept. 7.
