All Day LIFT Exhibition Series: Unobstructed Beauty (Multi-Day Event)

This year, the LIFT series features three female painters from the Waterloo Region: Lauren Judge, Marion R. Anderson, and Anne Filiatrault. Each artist shares a narrative that invites viewers to reflect on how we perceive and experience our surrounding environment.

The LIFT microgalleries are located on floors 4-6 of the Waterloo campus Library daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Experience a mixed media installation by London, Ontario-based artist and social justice activist Ron Benner.

  • 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM WLU Alumni Choir Homecoming Rehearsal

    For those participating in the WLU Alumni Homecoming Service we will meet in the Faculty of Music buliding to rehearse the day prior to the event.

    Please not there will be a one hour lunch break from noon to 1:00 p.m.

    Register to sing with the choir -

    1:00 PM Men's Football vs Western
    Tournament Men's Football vs Western at Knight-Newbrough Field, University Stadium
    6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Water Ceremony

    An evening of ceremony and friendship outdoors organized, in part, by the thirdspace_ alternative worshipping community at Waterloo Lutheran Seminary. 

    Join us to honour and renew our relationship with water. Led by Renee Hill. Water drum by Jenelle. Teaching n the gifts of water by Anne Anderson. 

    Bring a container of water, such as a half-litre bottle of water, with your name inscribed on it. Women are encouraged to wear long skirts or bring a sari/blanket to honour the ceremony.

     Followed by socializing. Bring a small serving of fresh fruit cut into finger-size pieces.
