Drop into the seminary to view the exhibition Sharing our Creative Spirits: Various artwork by Waterloo Lutheran Seminary faculty and staff. Open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and some evenings.

    Either way, attending Career Fair is a great way to learn more about career opportunities and build connections with employers. Practice your networking skills, ask questions about potential opportunities, and make a positive impression on employers to increase your chances of finding the job you want!

    • Free transportation to and from the Fair:
      • Waterloo: Bus leaves from 200 King St. Residence at 200 King St. North every half hour starting at 9:30 a.m.
      • Brantford: Meet at 8:45 a.m. in the SC Johnson lobby, just outside the Career Centre (Room: SCJ112). Bus departs at 9 a.m.
      • Please email careerbrantford@wlu.ca to sign up for the bus.

    Register your attendance by logging into navigator.wlu.ca to receive event reminders. All Laurier students and alumni are welcome to attend whether or not you register ahead of time.

    Note: Admission is restricted to degree/diploma students and alumni of the sponsoring institutions (University of Guelph, University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University and Conestoga College).

  • 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM #TAG Graffiti Art Project

    Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth will come together in a cultural exchange for a Wilfrid Laurier University-led initiative referred to as the TAG project (Transformation Action Graffiti).

    When the project is complete, two large-scale murals by Chile’s famed Alapinta artists – one on Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, and one in the City of Brantford – will stand as a testament to the healing, friendship and cultural pride that the project hopes to engender.

    Mr. Kingsley will draw on his experience as Chief Electoral Officer (1990-2007) to talk about our electoral system and solutions for building a stronger democracy in Canada.
    2:00 PM - 4:30 PM Employee Achievement Awards
    The Employee Success Factors define for all employees, at all levels, the skills, knowledge, learning and behaviours which are critical to the achievement of Laurier’s Mission, Vision and Values. As such, recognizing and rewarding their significant contributions through the 2016 Employee Achievement Awards is important to our institution. A ceremony and reception will be held on September 28, 2016 to celebrate all award winners and long-service employees. Please be sure to mark the date in your calendar!

    The Association of Political Science Students is hosting a Meet the Profs night from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Wilf's Den. You will be given the opportunity to interact and converse with professors from the Political Science and North American Studies department. This is a great opportunity to network with students and get to know your professors on a personal level, so come on out and create a bond over a bowl of spin dip!

    Join us to learn about our Laurier MBA Program formats.

    The next intake for our Full-time and Full-time with Co-op program options is August 2017, and for our Part-time Evenings MBA is 2017. The next intake for our Toronto Part-time alternate weekend MBA programs is April 2017.

    At the information session you will learn about all of our MBA formats: the Full-time options, including Co-op, the MBA with CPA, and the new double degree, MBA and Master of Finance.

    We will discuss the admission criteria, the application process, and help you determine your eligibility. We offer GMAT support, application counselling, and classroom visits.

    The following Waterloo MBA programs start in Fall 2016:

    • Full-time MBA with Co-op.
    • One year full-time MBA program.
    • Part-time evenings MBA.

    Pre-registration to the MBA info session is required.
