10:00 AM - 3:30 PM Career Fair 2019

Are you unsure of your career options, or focused on a specific career goal?

Either way, attending Career Fair is a great way to learn more about career opportunities and build connections with employers. Practice your networking skills, ask questions about potential opportunities, and make a positive impression on employers to increase your chances of finding the job you want!

  • Connect with over 250 employers in diverse sectors.
  • Free admission with Laurier student/alumni ID.
  • Free transportation to and from the Fair.

Participating Organizations

  • Download the P4E Career Fair App from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Visit www.partners4employment.ca.
  • The list of participating organizations by position category will be available in the Navigator event listing at least one week prior to the event.

Registration

Register your attendance in Navigator (Brantford or Waterloo campus) to receive event reminders. All Laurier students and alumni are welcome to attend whether or not you register ahead of time.

Admission is restricted to degree/diploma students and alumni of the sponsoring institutions (University of Guelph, University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University and Conestoga College).

Please bring your OneCard to these events. Business casual attire is recommended for the fair.

    This workshop will help students understand the beginning of the academic writing process. We will focus on strategies for understanding assignments, planning and starting a draft.

    Scheduling a personal appointment is your first step to joining the Lazaridis MBA Program.

    At the session, we will discuss admission criteria, the application process, and help you determine your eligibility. Personal appointments are approximately 30 minutes long and must be pre-booked through the MBA events page, or directly, with Maureen Ferraro at mferraro@wlu.ca.

    Join us each Wednesday for Prayers for the World with Luther. We host sessions weekly over the lunch hour.

    • Tuesdays – Reading and Reflecting on the Book of Acts: A Window into the Early Church
    • Wednesdays – prayers for the world
    • Thursdays – Chilling with Dogs; multifaith teachings

    A facilitated study group (FSG) is a time and place for you to get together with other people from your classes and an FSG leader (someone who has previously taken the course) to discuss the course content and gain a deeper understanding of what is being covered in the class lectures and readings.

    This does not mean that the FSG leaders will teach you the content, but they will help you enhance your understanding of course material, and they can also help students with understanding assignment requirements.
