All Day Douglas R. Ewart: Crepuscule Mixed Media Installation (Multi-Day Event)
Douglas R. Ewart’s Crepuscule is a multimedia, interactive installation and exhibition of music, film, sculptural assemblage and performance art, exploring the role of improvisation in building and strengthening community. Douglas R. Ewart is a versatile composer, improviser, sculptor and maker of masks and instruments. He is also an inspiring and enthusiastic educator and lecturer. Throughout his acclaimed 40-year career, Ewart has led projects in diverse media, weaving his many talents into a single sensibility that encourages and celebrates the wholeness of individuals in culturally active communities.

  • All Day Registration Period: Campus Career Shadow Day for Indigenous Students (Multi-Day Event)

    The Campus Career Shadow Day for Indigenous Students is a unique opportunity for self-identified Indigenous Students to engage in career exploration right here on campus! Students will make a connection between classroom and career to better understand the knowledge, skills, and requirements needed to pursue a fulfilling career at Laurier.

    Participation in Campus Career Shadow Day includes pre-shadow and post-shadow meetings for student participants with representatives from the Office of Indigenous Initiatives, Career Development Centre and Human Resources. Students will be matched with a Laurier staff or faculty who align with their careers goals and will be able to provide insight into the field.
