All Day LIFT Exhibition Series: Unobstructed Beauty (Multi-Day Event)

This year, the LIFT series features three female painters from the Waterloo Region: Lauren Judge, Marion R. Anderson, and Anne Filiatrault. Each artist shares a narrative that invites viewers to reflect on how we perceive and experience our surrounding environment.

The LIFT microgalleries are located on floors 4-6 of the Waterloo campus Library daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Lazaridis Hall at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo is being targeted for its LEED (Leadership in Energy and Enviornmental Design) Gold Certification.

    The event will be hosted in the main auditorium of the new home of the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, and the Department of Mathematics.

    There will be a panel discussion with Laurier staff and faculty members, as well as an interactive 360 video of the LEED features in Lazaridis Hall. This event is open to the public in addition to students of the university.

    Join us Friday afternoons as we work towards reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. There will be an opportunity to smudge beginning at 12:20 p.m. followed by singing, drumming, reflection and readings.

    THEME: Indigenous art.
