Laurier’s Sustainability Office is running a move-out donation campaign for the last two weeks of August!
We are collecting clean and good condition clothing, household and kitchen items, furniture, textbooks and non-perishable foods! These donations will be sorted and redistributed to Laurier students at the start of September during our first ever FREESTORE. This process will reduce waste from the move out at the end of August and support incoming as well as returning students prepare for the school year.
All Laurier community members can donate items!
Donations can be dropped off at 57 Lodge Street, Waterloo – just a 5-minute walk from Alumni Field. Bring items around to the back of the building, signs will guide you there.
Just bring your items that are clean and in good condition. Have large items that you cannot transport? Sign-up for a large item pick up. All items must be at the curb by noon on the day of the pickup.
The free store operates from September 2 to 7. The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2. It will be open noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3 to 7.
