  • 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM Empty Bowls Online Fundraiser

The Robert Langen Art Gallery will be hosting an online edition of their long-running Empty Bowls fundraiser for The Foodbank of Waterloo Region. The event is May 19, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and tickets are available at Eventbrite.

In the spirit of giving back to our community, RLAG, in collaboration with the Waterloo Potters’ Workshop, has served as a venue host for Empty Bowls for the past 11 years. This charitable fundraising initiative is designed to raise awareness of hunger in our local community with 100% of all proceeds going directly to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

Since 2011, Robert Langen Art Gallery (RLAG) has raised $42,395, which provides 127,185 meals for families in the Waterloo Region. In an effort to continue to support The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, especially during this global pandemic, the idea of launching the Empty Bowls Online Event was born.
