  • 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM Rise and Shine: Building Your Brand

What are you known for? Do you have a raison d’être? Have you ever considered how others perceive you? Do your actions and decisions align with the brand perception you are trying to build for yourself? These topics often never enter the realm of our consciousness, but they should. In the era of social media it is easy to find dirt on you, and what they find could mean the difference between that dream job, or career stagnation.

Jim Finnigan BBA '00 has worked in Human Resources for some of Canada’s largest and well-known organizations, and has seen first-hand how careers can be made or broken based on personal brand. Jim will share his perspective on personal brand management and the key factors he feels make the biggest difference to career success. Join us for a chat and an incredible breakfast served by Avec, featuring omlette bar, fresh baked good and mimosas.
