This year, the LIFT series features three female painters from the Waterloo Region: Lauren Judge, Marion R. Anderson, and Anne Filiatrault. Each artist shares a narrative that invites viewers to reflect on how we perceive and experience our surrounding environment.
The LIFT microgalleries are located on floors 4-6 of the Waterloo campus Library daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Join us for the second Daytime Dance Party Break and lunch event at the Robert Langen Art Gallery in the Laurier Library.
The dance break is an opportunity for Laurier community members to take a break, enjoy some music and dance (if you wish). You can grab a pizza lunch for a pay-what-you-can contribution. All proceeds will be donated to support Syrian refugee community members in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Presented by Dr. Sharon Hoover, PhD.
Dr. Hoover shares her research in the area of multi-tiered supports
for students exposed to trauma. Following her talk, Dr. Hoover will join
four local social work and education experts for a discussion about the
practical implications of a trauma-informed approach at schools in
the Waterloo Region.
