11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Campus Blood Drive for Canadian Blood Services

Make a life-saving donation by giving blood on Thursday, Feb. 6 at Laurier's Waterloo campus.

Laurier is a Canadian Blood Services' (CBS) Partner for Life​. As a Laurier student, alumni or employee, your donation can count toward Laurier’s pledge of 350 blood donations in 2020. Your family and friends can also donate on behalf of Laurier.

To have your donation included in Laurier’s pledge:

  • Tell clinic staff upon arrival that you would like your donation to count toward Laurier’s pledge.
  • Complete the Partners for Life Member Registration Form prior to donating using Laurier’s partner ID (WILF001529).

  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Chilling With Dogs

    De-stress with some of our four-legged friends! We host chilling with dogs each week over the lunch hour.

    Stop by any day of the week for different activities:

    • Mondays – Contemplative Music
    • Tuesdays – Reading and Reflecting on the Book of Acts: A Window into the Early Church
    • Wednesdays – Prayers for the World
    • Thursdays – Chilling with Dogs; Multifaith Teachings
    • Fridays – Settler Work: Contemplative Arts, and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG)

    Every Thursday, the Faculty of Music is pleased to present our free Music at Noon concert series, where local, national and international artists perform for the Kitchener-Waterloo community.

    This week we welcome James McLean (tenor), Kimberly Barber (mezzo-soprano), Chad Louwerse (bass-baritone), Leslie Fagan (soprano), Anna Ronai (piano) & Lorin Shalanko (piano) to our series.

    12:30 PM - 1:00 PM Something Sacred – Multifaith Teachings

    Pause and reflect each Thursday at Luther. We host multifaith teaching sessions each week over the lunch hour. Join us for teachings from different faiths: Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and Orthodox Christianity – a different topic/faith perspective each week.

    Manage anxiety and depression through yoga. Bring your mat or borrow one of the few provided.

    This session is free for students, but registration is required.
