7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Team Leadership Pillar Workshop

The Leadership Ambassadors will be running their CCR Approved Team Leadership Pillar where students can learn more about other styles of leadership, how to work well with others, and function cooperatively as a team.

This workshop will be taking place from 7-10pm in CB 205.

    All Day Writing Circle: Make Progress on Your Writing Assignments (Multi-Day Event)

    The Writing Circle is a writing intensive session that is intended to help keep you motivated, focused, and on track with your writing.

    Simply show up to the Library Learning Lab at 7 p.m. with something to work on and be ready to write! No registration is necessary.

    Writing amongst peers has been shown to help writers be more productive.

    The Writing Circle is facilitated by Writing Tutors from the Laurier Writing Centre.

  • 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Tour+ Brantford Campus

    Tour+ provides an opportunity for students to visit the campus, take a tour, enjoy a mock lecture, speak to faculty regarding programs or find out more about admissions.

    Tour+ days are an opportunity for students to connect with Laurier staff and faculty and get questions answered.

    Meet over 30 representatives from School Boards and International teacher-recruitment agencies who are actively recruiting Teacher Candidates for jobs in: Ontario, Alberta, Quebec, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and the UK. Students from all years, all programs and all campuses are welcome to attend!

    Final year Teacher Candidates should:

    • Research organizations and job postings in advance.
    • Come prepared with questions, resume and cover letters.
    • Be dressed professionally.

    Join us for midday prayers and teachings by seminary students, faculty and staff each weekday (excluding reading week). A different theme each day.

    • Mondays: Indigenous care for water. Singing and smudging optional.

    • Thursdays: Yoga.
    • Fridays: Various themes.

    1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Intercultural Certificate -Waterloo Campus

    Laurier International has introduced an engaging six-module Intercultural Certificate. More than 250 students have so far successfully completed the full certificate, which is available on both the Brantford and Waterloo campuses.


    Each module has 80 minutes of in-person content.
