End Day GMAT Bootcamp Course (Verbal) (Multi-Day Event)

    The Robert Langen Art Gallery is proud to present A Casual Reconstruction, by Montreal based artist Nadia Myre. Myre is an Algonquin/Québécois artist and member of the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation who employs a collaborative process as a strategy for engaging in conversations about identity, resilience and the politics of belonging. She is a graduate from Concordia University (MFA, 2002) and a recipient of Les Elles de l’art (2011), CALQ’s Prix à la création artistique pour la région des Laurentides (2009), and an Eiteljorg Fellowship (2003). Recent accomplishments include artist-in-residency at the McCord Museum culminating in her exhibition Decolonial Gestures or Doing it Wrong? Refaire le chemin (2016), Sobey Art Award recipient (2014), and commissioned works for Oraison/Orison (galerie Oboro, Montreal, 2014), Formes et Paroles (Musée Dapper, Senegal, 2014), and Sakahàn (National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa, 2013). A Casual Reconstruction, is a video installation, born from the desire to have an honest discussion about identity and mixed identity as Indigenous people.

    Join us for midday prayers and teachings by seminary students, faculty and staff each weekday (excluding reading week). A different theme each day.

    • Mondays: Indigenous care for water. Singing and smudging optional.
    • Tuesdays and Wednesdays: Various themes.
    • Thursdays: Yoga.
    • Fridays: Various themes.


    2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Ribbon Shirt and Dress Making
    Students will have the opportunity to make their own traditional ribbon shirt and dress. There is limited spacing! first come, first served.
