7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Mysterious Barricades - "The Stories We Tell"

Mysterious Barricades is an annual series of cross-Canada concerts for suicide awareness, prevention, and hope. 

Performers Include: Penderecki String Quartet, Guy Few (trumpet) & Stephanie Mara (piano), Gerard Yun (shakuhachi), Rene Meshake (pipigwan), and the band Safe as Houses.

In partnership with the Kitchener Public Library and Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council.

This concert will be recorded and then streamed on Saturday, September 14, 2019

All Day LIFT Exhibition Series: Unobstructed Beauty (Multi-Day Event)

This year, the LIFT series features three female painters from the Waterloo Region: Lauren Judge, Marion R. Anderson, and Anne Filiatrault. Each artist shares a narrative that invites viewers to reflect on how we perceive and experience our surrounding environment.

The LIFT microgalleries are located on floors 4-6 of the Waterloo campus Library daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Explore songs, texts, and a combination of verbal and non-verbal ways to communicate our worship with Don Saliers, author and distinguished professor emeritus of theology and worship at the Candler School of Theology, Emory University.

    Co-sponsored by the Kanata Centre for Worship and Global Song at Waterloo Lutheran Seminary, Anabaptist Learning Workshops at Conrad Grebel University College, and Mennonite Church Eastern Canada.
