Public Lecture with David Milgaard

Event Description:

The Criminology faculty in partnership with the Criminology Students Association (CSA) present a public lecture with David Milgaard.

Milgaard was wrongfully convicted in 1969 and spent 23 years in prison before being released in 1992. David worked alongside Innocence Canada to clear his name and has continued to work with the organization to assist others who have been wrongfully convicted. David Milgaard will discuss his experiences within the justice system and the importance of education in the fight against wrongful convictions.
