9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Three Minute Thesis competition

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition challenges research-based master’s and PhD students to present their research to a layperson audience in three minutes or less. Students are allowed one slide, but no props and no notes.

Laurier’s graduate students will be competing March 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. in the Senate and Board Chambers. Come watch the competition! It's free, no registration is necessary and drop-ins are welcome.

    All Day LIFT Exhibition Series: Unobstructed Beauty (Multi-Day Event)

    This year, the LIFT series features three female painters from the Waterloo Region: Lauren Judge, Marion R. Anderson, and Anne Filiatrault. Each artist shares a narrative that invites viewers to reflect on how we perceive and experience our surrounding environment.

    The LIFT microgalleries are located on floors 4-6 of the Waterloo campus Library.

    Confused when the pronoun acts as the subject of a clause? Do you know your adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions and interjections? Come and learn the rules of usage and principles of composition most commonly violated on the GMAT.

    The Lazaridis MBA has teamed up with Quantum Test Prep to provide a FREE GMAT verbal refresher! Topics covered include: Parts of Speech, Verb Tenses, Grammar Terminology, and Parts of a Sentence.

    The Quantum Pre-GMAT Verbal Refresher class is designed to help you brush up on your high school Verbal skills before you formally start preparing for the GMAT.

    The workshop is free to attend, all you need to do is pre-register.

    Laurier’s FREE GMAT Verbal Refresher will be held in the Dr. Alvin Woods Building (Room 2-105) at Laurier’s Waterloo Campus.
