Calling all students in English, or those who wish they were taking English! Join us at the 5th annual Guy Fawkes Night event at Rose & Thistle. Food and drink provided. Mingle with students and faculty alike!

    Join us to help with the garden, and take home some free produce.

    2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Intro to DSLR Photography

    Learn the basics of DSLR photography with our workshop offered at the Library Makerspace. Topics covered include shutter, aperture, and ISO. Please sign up to register by emailing Madi Mackenzie as there is a limit of 2 people per workshop.

    Practice time for Inshallah, a 130+ voice choir gathering from across campus and throughout Waterloo Region, singing songs of praise and prayer, of joy and lament, from around the world. It’s a fun and welcoming space where multifaith and multicultural diversity is explored through music at rehearsals, public gatherings and workshops.

    New members accepted during the first two practices of the fall term.

    6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Weekly Game Nights
    Join us for a night of gaming fun. We play any and all types of games, from board games to video games, from Magic The Gathering to Dungeons and Dragons. This event occurs each week at the same time.

  • 6:30 PM Info Session: Holy Land Study Tour (Multi-Day Event)

    Martin Luther University College will be leading a study tour to the Holy Land Apr. 22 – May 7, 2019. Join us for an info session about the tour. 

    About the Holy Land Study Tour 

    Visit sites in Jerusalem, Galilee and occupied territories. Meet teachers and students at Lutheran schools, Rabbis for Human Rights, and the Wi’am Human Rights Centre, CLWR development workers. Worship with Palestinian Christian and Jewish congregations.

    The tour is designed for study, rather than tourism. Prospective travellers must be registered in a degree program (credit can be transferred to the home institution through a Letter of Permission) or you can join the tour as a continuing education student.

If so, meet us in the webinar where you will learn more about Laurier’s Consecutive Education program. During the webinar, the Faculty’s Associate Dean, Dr. Kristiina Montero, will provide an overview of the Bachelor of Education program and application process. You will hear about the program from the perspective of faculty, staff and current students. We’ll also tell you about the City of Waterloo, where the Faculty of Education is located. Join the webinar to receive important information about how our unique teacher education program can prepare you for a rewarding professional teaching career, and to ask questions and get them answered in real-time.
