The Anglican Church of Canada (ACC) recently enabled the formation of a self-determining Indigenous church within the ACC. The change is the result of a 25-year process. How did this come to be? What does it mean for Indigenous people in general, and for Anglicans in particular? How might this affect the shape of the ACC and inform other churches, faith communities, and Canadian society?
Most Rev. Mark MacDonald, the first National Indigenous Anglican Archbishop of the ACC, will discuss this unprecedented moment and respond to your questions.
