At Laurier we pride ourselves in inspiring lives of leadership and purpose and we look to Canadian executives who lead their businesses with the qualities and characteristics of excellence that we seek to develop in our students.
The Lazaridis School CEO-in-Residence is an appointed honour by the Dean of the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics, and has been developed to deliver a perspective to students beyond their studies and research in the classroom.
On Friday, Nov. 23, Andrew Williams, CEO of DHL Express Canada and Laurier BBA ’96 grad, will be joining us at 11 a.m. in the Senate & Board Chamber to share his insights into the global logistics market, an international business vertical that is defined by its dynamic and exciting challenges. Light lunch will be provided.
With the rise of e-commerce and the continuing emergence of new technologies across the globe, there has never been a better time to study supply chain management. Andrew will share his thoughts about the effective operation of global logistics and how they connect people and improve lives. Andrew will also share stories from his personal experience as he moved from being a new Laurier grad to frontline sales rep to CEO.
The discussion will end with a Q&A session where Andrew will be more than happy to answer any industry-related questions you have.
