All Day Art Exhibition: Surface Tension (Multi-Day Event)
The Robert Langen Art Gallery's Fall 2016 exhibition, Surface Tension is an ongoing collaborative interdisciplinary sound and video work created by renowned Canadian artists Eve Egoyan (piano) and David Rokeby (installation). On Fridays during the exhibition run, visitors are invited to play the Disklavier themselves and to experience the ways in which the video projection responds to their inputs. We gratefully acknowledge Yamaha Canada Music and Music Plus for generously providing the Yamaha Disklavier Piano featured in the exhibit.

  • f1.4: The Changing Face of Contemporary Photography

    This year’s LIFT series of community artist exhibits feature the images of KW area photographers Darin White, Stefan Rose and Stephen Orlando.

    The LIFT micro-galleries are located directly across from the elevators on floors 4, 5 and 6 of Laurier’s Waterloo campus Library.

    The series brings community artists from the grassroots up into the stacks.

We will talk about admission requirements to our music programs including audition processes, RCM recommended levels by instrument, theory test questions and interview prep suggestions. At the same time, we will focus on what our music program can offer you as a student including double majoring, minoring, performance experiences, residence learning communities and how to get involved on campus.
