Dr. Ben-Porath is the author of Free Speech on Campus. She is a professor in the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania and chairs the UPenn committee on Open Expression.
She will give talks at Laurier's Waterloo and Brantford campuses titled "Inclusive Freedom on Campus".

Pursuant to the Wilfrid Laurier University Act, Senate has broad jurisdiction over the university’s academic matters, including the power to establish educational policies of the university, deal with curriculum matters, determine policies related to tenure and promotion of faculty, determine standards of admission of students, and engage in long-range academic planning.
The agenda will be posted approximately one week in advance of the meeting and approved minutes will follow once approved at the subsequent meeting. Full agenda packages can be accessed by staff and faculty on Laurier Connect.

Practice time for Inshallah, a 130+ voice choir gathering from across campus and throughout Waterloo Region, singing songs of praise and prayer, of joy and lament, from around the world. It’s a fun and welcoming space where multifaith and multicultural diversity is explored through music at rehearsals, public gatherings and workshops.
