All Day LIFT Exhibition Series: Unobstructed Beauty (Multi-Day Event)

This year, the LIFT series features three female painters from the Waterloo Region: Lauren Judge, Marion R. Anderson, and Anne Filiatrault. Each artist shares a narrative that invites viewers to reflect on how we perceive and experience our surrounding environment.

The LIFT microgalleries are located on floors 4-6 of the Waterloo campus Library.

    The Senate Executive Committee is responsible for for any matters committed to it by Senate, to function in place of the Senate between meetings of the Senate, to consider matters pertinent to Senate, including policies and protocol relating to university convocations and functions, and to report to Senate.

    The agenda will be posted approximately one week in advance of the meeting and approved minutes will follow once approved at the subsequent meeting.  Full agenda packages can be accessed on Laurier Connect.

    Every Thursday the Faculty of Music is pleased to present our free Music at Noon series, where local, national and international artists perform for the K-W community.

    This week we welcome percussionist Trichy Sankaran to the stage.

    Laurier University Charity Kouncil (LUCK) will be hosting their semi-annual ON-CAMPUS Blood Donor Clinic on November 2nd in the Senate and Board Chamber from noon - 3:00 p.m. 

     

    If you are interested in donating, please contact luck.wlu@gmail.com or sign-up in the concourse between Oct 25 - Nov 1.

    The GAMEtalk lecture series is a partnership between the Game Design and Development program and the Laurier Library to bring in speakers who are involved in the game industry to speak to students, faculty and the community. Come join us in the BGNlab from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 2 in welcoming Jim MacArthur. Jim is a Software Engineer at Nvidia and a programmer with a focus on machine-level coding and graphics engineering. Jim has also worked for Rock Star Games, Digital Extremes, and Ubisoft Montreal.
