The Leadership Ambassadors will be presenting their Community Leadership Pillar. At this interactive workshop, students can learn more about how they can take their leadership to the next level and use leadership in their community.

 This CCR Approved workshop will be taking place on Monday March 13th from 7-10pm in CB 100.

    All Day Art Exhibition: Surface Tension (Multi-Day Event)
    The Robert Langen Art Gallery's Fall 2016 exhibition, Surface Tension is an ongoing collaborative interdisciplinary sound and video work created by renowned Canadian artists Eve Egoyan (piano) and David Rokeby (installation). On Fridays during the exhibition run, visitors are invited to play the Disklavier themselves and to experience the ways in which the video projection responds to their inputs. We gratefully acknowledge Yamaha Canada Music and Music Plus for generously providing the Yamaha Disklavier Piano featured in the exhibit.

  • f1.4: The Changing Face of Contemporary Photography

    This year’s LIFT series of community artist exhibits feature the images of KW area photographers Darin White, Stefan Rose and Stephen Orlando.

    The LIFT micro-galleries are located directly across from the elevators on floors 4, 5 and 6 of Laurier’s Waterloo campus Library.

    The series brings community artists from the grassroots up into the stacks.

  • All Day Free Maple Intensive Training

    Students will get a rare opportunity to receive a free intensive training in Maple, by 3 top world experts. Maple is the flagship Canadian product in the area of mathematical software. Maple is an ideal tool to help students of various discipines complete their assignments and projects.

    Free lunch is also provided. A raffle winner will receive a MacBook Air laptop. All participants will receive completion certificates from Maplesoft, the Waterloo-based company that makes Maple.

    This event is free, but registration is required, for planning purposes.

    The Faculty of Education invites prospective applicants to attend an MEd Open House information session. We welcome prospective applicants to visit the Faculty of Education to learn more about the MEd program, hear from current students and recent graduates, and receive tips on how to submit a successful admissions package.

    This is also a great opportunity to meet with the Graduate Program Coordinator, Kristiina Montero, and Graduate Program Assistant, Ursula Wolfe, who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
