Event Description:
The GAMEtalk lecture series is a partnership between the Game Design and Development program and the Laurier Library to bring in speakers who are involved in the game industry to speak to students, faculty and the community. The speaker for October is Mary Pilon - don't miss her speak in GRH 207.
Mary Pilon is a journalist from New York City who wrote the New York Times Bestseller “The Monopolist”. The book looks at the story of how Monopoly started as a critique of capitalism, the lost female originator of the game, and the real history behind one of the bestselling games of all time.
