8:30 AM - 5:00 PM LIFT Exhibition Series: Unobstructed Beauty

This year, the LIFT series features three female painters from the Waterloo Region: Lauren Judge, Marion R. Anderson, and Anne Filiatrault. Each artist shares a narrative that invites viewers to reflect on how we perceive and experience our surrounding environment.

The LIFT microgalleries are located on floors 4-6 of the Waterloo campus Library.

    Laurier's Sustainability Office and WWF-Canada through our Living Planet @ Campus program invite you to join students and staff in helping protect wildlife and the places they call home with the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup of the Grand River in Brantford on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017.

    Registration opens at 9 a.m. at Brant's Crossing. We will provide light snacks and cleanup supplies, as well as fun opportunities for prizes! Washrooms are also available on site for your use.

    The Writing Circle is a writing intensive session that is intended to help keep you motivated, focused, and on track with your writing. Simply show up to the Library Learning Lab at 7 p.m. with something to work on and be ready to write! No registration is necessary. Writing amongst peers has been shown to help writers be more productive. The Writing Circle is facilitated by Writing Tutors from the Laurier Writing Centre.
