Bystander Intervention Workshop

Event Description:

This workshop will pilot the “Made at Laurier Bystander Training” conceptualized by a team of Laurier students. The workshop presenters, Dr. Ginette Lafreniere and Laura Coakley will be expose students to various themes and exercises which will get them thinking about their role as a bystander and how they can pro-active going forward. Issues such as alcohol use, rape culture, racism, homophobia and the importance of male allies will also be explored.

Pizza will be provided!

The Student Levy Fund of WLU financially supported both in class and online versions of this workshop.
