The Audit and Compliance Committee is responsible for ensuring the appropriate controls and accountabilities exist within the University as relate to finance, statutory and regulatory compliance, and policy requirements. The Committee also provides an avenue of communication among the external auditors, management, the internal auditor, and the Board of Governors.

  • 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM Foundations in Teaching and Learning Certificate

    Transferable skills associated with teaching are present in many aspects of our lives.

    From explaining a concept to a peer, tutoring a friend, to coaching a soccer team, teaching can take various forms. The Foundations in Teaching and Learning certificate is an opportunity for undergraduate students to gain a foundation for success in various teaching opportunities they encounter on a daily basis.

    This certificate will help you identify the skills associated with teaching and learning activities and communicate them to future employers, colleagues, and mentors. You will have the opportunity to put the skills you develop into practice in a safe and supportive environment through hands-on activities and microteaching sessions.

    Note: This is a two-part morning session.

  • 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM University Teaching Foundations Certificate

    The University Teaching Foundations certificate consists of a series of hands-on workshops and microteaching sessions to provide graduate students a basic foundation for success in the classroom as a teaching assistant, as well as gain transferable skills for use in future employment opportunities.

    This is the intensive offering of the certificate in which the five required workshops and two required microteaching sessions are offered.
