All Day LIFT Exhibition Series: Unobstructed Beauty (Multi-Day Event)

This year, the LIFT series features three female painters from the Waterloo Region: Lauren Judge, Marion R. Anderson, and Anne Filiatrault. Each artist shares a narrative that invites viewers to reflect on how we perceive and experience our surrounding environment.

The LIFT microgalleries are located on floors 4-6 of the Waterloo campus Library.

    Join us for a short time of prayer and reflection. Various themes, cultures and faith traditions.

    LOCATION: Waterloo Lutheran Seminary's temporary location at 190 Lester St., Waterloo.

    Learn more about what kinds of funding are available to you! 

    Our Graduate Financial Aid and Awards Officer Cherie Mongeon (cmongeon@wlu.ca) will be presenting on the many opportunities available to master's students, including internal and external scholarships, funding and awards and employment-based funding. She will also speak about funding eligibility and how to apply. Senior undergraduates who plan to pursue their master's should also attend.

    Students interested in going on exchange must attend an information session before applying for the Student Exchange Program. All information sessions are drop-in sessions.

    This is an opportunity for you to learn about Canadian culture and share experiences from your home country in a relaxed and informal setting. It's also a great chance to make new friends at Laurier. Students who attend 12 sessions will get a designation on their experience record. There is no need to register. Just drop by the Laurier International office to enjoy coffee or tea and to meet other students.

    Pursuant to the Wilfrid Laurier University Act, Senate has broad jurisdiction over the university’s academic matters, including the power to establish educational policies of the university, deal with curriculum matters, determine policies related to tenure and promotion of faculty, determine standards of admission of students, and engage in long-range academic planning.

    The agenda will be posted approximately one week in advance of the meeting and approved minutes will follow once approved at the subsequent meeting.  Full agenda packages can be accessed by staff and faculty on Laurier Connect.
