The Leadership Ambassadors will be running their CCR Approved Team Leadership Pillar where students can learn more about other styles of leadership, how to work well with others, and function cooperatively as a team.

This workshop will be taking place from 7-10pm in CB 205.

    All Day Writing Circle: Make Progress on Your Writing Assignments (Multi-Day Event)

    The Writing Circle is a writing intensive session that is intended to help keep you motivated, focused, and on track with your writing.

    Simply show up to the Library Learning Lab at 7 p.m. with something to work on and be ready to write! No registration is necessary.

    Writing amongst peers has been shown to help writers be more productive.

    The Writing Circle is facilitated by Writing Tutors from the Laurier Writing Centre.

    Always wanted to brush up your self-defence skills? Now's your chance! And it's free to Laurier students!

    Wen-Do is the longest-running women's self-defence organization in canada! It is survivor-centered, empowerment-based, accessible and intersectional self-defence for all women! Nonbinary folks should get in contact with the instructor to see if this course is right for you.

    Endorsed by the Diversity and Equity Office. Proudly supported by the Student Life Levy and WLU's Women's Campus Safety Grant.

    This 2-Sunday, 15-hour basic course provides foundations for strong and effective psychological, verbal and physical self-defence. The location is wheelchair accessible and techniques can be adapted to you and your body.

    Community Leadership Pillar allows for the demonstrated application of personal and team leadership learning in an experiential forum by focusing on: engaging in some form of service; developing reflective practices and critical thinking skills; and exploring the connections between leadership and social change.

    The following interactive presentations will be given by the Laurier Leadership Ambassadors:
    -A Volunteer's Toolkit
    -My Community: Making an Impact
    -Through Service and Experiential Learning

    This free three-hour workshop is eligible to be recognized on the Co-Curricular Record, and is also part of the Student Leadership Certificate Program.
