The Leadership Ambassadors will be presenting their Community Leadership Pillar. At this interactive workshop, students can learn more about how they can take their leadership to the next level and use leadership in their community.

    All Day Amy Swartz Mixed Media Exhibition: Down the Rabbit Hole (Multi-Day Event)

    The Robert Langen Art Gallery's first 2017 exhibition, Down the Rabbit Hole, is a mixed media display by renowned Canadian artist Amy Swartz.

    Using incongruous materials, Amy explores synergies between the natural world, consumer culture, fantasy and her own life experience. Similar to a plastic surgeon grafting bone and skin to reconfigure the body, she performs a related type of physical manipulation by conjoining and reforming objects.

    During this process, she reflects on the complexities that link living things, and in contrast, our attempts to control life through artificial means.

    Amy Swartz is a Toronto-based visual artist. She creates highly detailed and meticulously crafted collections that combine both natural and artificial materials in sculpture, installation and drawing. ´╗┐Her work explores the idea of obsession — not only in the practice of art, but also in humanity’s perceived control over nature, life, and death.

    Inawendiwag - They Are Related to Each Other is the seminary's Art on the Wall exhibition for January. Mixed-media by Catherine Dallaire. In addition to being open daytime, the exhibition can be viewed some weeknight evenings.

    Since 2002, Ken and Marilyn Murray have presented the Ken Murray Concerto Competition Award of Distinction, a $5000 scholarship and the chance to perform with the K-W Symphony to a Laurier Faculty of Music student.

    This week join the Ken Murray Concerto Competition finalists as they compete for the 2016-2017 award.

    • Part-time alternate weekend MBA begins April 2017.
    • Part-time alternate weekend MBA/CPA begins April 2017.
    • Part-time alternate weekend MBA and Executive Master of Finance begins April 2017.

    Waterloo MBA Program Start Dates

    • Full-time MBA with co-op begins August 2017.
    • One year full-time MBA program begins August 2017.

    Pre-registration is necessary.

    Learn how two citation and document management tools (Zotero and Mendeley) can help keep your research work organized and save you time when you need to prepare properly formatted bibliographies and in-text citations.

    Now is the time to learn about all of our Lazaridis School Master of Business Administration (MBA) program formats and ready your application: full-time and co-op in Waterloo and part-time alternate weekends in Toronto.

    Next intake for all of the Toronto MBA part-time alternate weekend programs is April 7, 2017.

    At the information session you will learn about all of our MBA formats: the full-time options, including co-op, the MBA for Certified Management Accountants (CMA), the MBA with Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and the new double degree, MBA with Master of Finance (MFIN).

    We will discuss the admission criteria, the application process, and help you determine your eligibility. We offer GMAT support, application counselling, and classroom visits.

    Pre-registration to the MBA Information Session is appreciated.
