Something Sacred – Multifaith Teachings

Event Description:

Pause and reflect each Thursday at Luther. We host multifaith teaching sessions each week over the lunch hour. Join us for teachings from different faiths: Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and Orthodox Christianity – a different topic/faith perspective each week.

  • Feb. 13 – Stages on a Buddhist Path, Christopher Ross
  • Feb. 27 – Islamic teaching, Engin and Selda Sezen
  • March 5 – But I say to you: Jewish Teaching, Daniel Maoz
  • March 12 – Stages on a Buddhist Path, Christopher Ross
  • March 19 – Christopher Rigden-Briscall, Christian Orthodox practice
  • March 26 – Islamic teaching, Engin and Selda Sezen

Stop by any day of the week for different activities:

  • Mondays – Contemplative Music
  • Tuesdays – Reading and Reflecting on the Book of Acts: A Window into the Early Church
  • Wednesdays – Prayers for the World
  • Thursdays – Chilling with Dogs; Multifaith Teachings
  • Fridays – Settler Work: Contemplative Arts, and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG)
