Event Description: The Centre for Student Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in partnership with Laurier's Faculty of Music present "Encounters in Music and Community: A Racial Justice Perspective".
Join us for an engaging conversation about music, community, and race featuring four prominent and accomplished panelists, who will share their experiences as racialized women creating music and building community, and will speak to the intersections of music and racial justice!
The panel includes Joni NehRita, Karen Burke, Dr. Laura Mae Lindo (MPP) and Alysha Brilla and will be moderated by Dr. Carol B. Duncan. |
